Over three conference cycles, I helped shape the visual identity and attendee experience for LSC’s Innovations in Technology Conference by building a cohesive conference brand that could work across marketing campaigns, web and mobile experiences, print materials, signage, merchandise, and the live event.

CHALLENGE

One conference. Many touchpoints.

ITC needed to feel like a distinct technology conference while remaining connected to the larger LSC brand. At the same time, attendees encountered the event across dozens of digital and physical touchpoints—from the first registration announcement to the signage they followed once they arrived.

BRAND SYSTEM

Distinct enough to stand alone. Connected enough to belong.

Due to ITC’s growth, I developed and maintained a visual system that gave ITC its own recognizable identity while keeping it connected to LSC. The system established a consistent foundation for applying the conference brand across changing formats, platforms, and annual programming.

2025: The default brand palette used red, white, and blue, reflecting the LSC color palette. In 2026, we chose to omit red and use shades of blue and white for the ITC sub-brand.
2026: Shades of blue and white carried the refined ITC sub-brand into the check-in experience. Modified logo emphasized LSC's role in hosting the conference.

EXPERIENCE DESIGN

From interface to environment.

The same identity needed to work at radically different scales—from a mobile screen in an attendee’s hand to signage guiding hundreds of people through a conference venue.

Digital

CAMPAIGN

Build recognition before the event through a consistent visual language across registration announcements, speakers, sessions, countdowns, and updates.

WEB

Translate the conference identity into Cvent while working within the platform’s structural and design constraints.

MOBILE

Carry the experience into the Attendee Hub App so agenda, sessions, speakers, and event information remain easy to navigate during the conference.

IMPACT

Designing a system that could evolve.

Post-conference Cvent analytics provided another input for future planning, helping us understand app adoption, active users, interactions, and the features attendees used most.

COHESIVE EXPERIENCE
A recognizable conference identity connects marketing, web, mobile, print, and the physical event.
REPEATABLE SYSTEM
Shared brand assets and standards provide a foundation that can be adapted across annual conference cycles and new event needs.
DATA-INFORMED ITERATION
Post-conference analytics provide insight into how attendees use digital event tools, creating another input for future experience decisions.

The project reinforced that conference design is less about any single website, app, sign, or graphic—and more about creating coherence across every moment where an attendee encounters the event.
